Surekha Walke, the co-owner and chef ensures that every plate leaves the “experiencing” feel and tastes perfect. The original Chaitanya restaurant is in Malvan, a small town in Maharashtra.
Chaitanya has closely spaced seating but the restaurant is packed at almost all times of the day.
The mouthwatering dishes are prepared with the main ingredients brought directly from Malvan. Coconut is generously used in all forms, dried, paste, grated, milk which mixed with the spices makes the food rich, creamy and delicious.
